Hi. I've just joined upto see if there is a scratchboard society. I was a art teacher for 32 yrs and one of my techniques was scratchboarding. It started for me in about 1967.

An Irish Wolfhound, and a Saluki eye. Salukis are the ancient hunting hounds that track mud in our house

Sabarika, If you are around Lexington ky the first or second week in June there will be over 500 Salukis at the Kentucky Horse Park . We hold our National there

Hey Tom, I agree....great name for California in the 60's! Glad to have another "old fart" joining ranks. I started at the same basic time, using the Tom Cutler book which I still have, and a small piece of EssDee and dental tools. Still have my first board. That would make an interesting show and tell from all members!

Sally...start the thread...we have done that before but it was a long time ago and should be fun again....post some work. Where is the cut off line for " old farts "? HA!

Check Facebook, Monica Stoner. Something like twenty photo albums, LOTS of Salukis. And sunsets. And artworks. She can get a little obsessive

Lots of Monica Stoners on Facebook but can't see any where I can see photos. You might need to find us a link :)
