No Doug,not even larger boats,cruise-lines ships,are immune at the waves of a tsunami.

In a boat on deep water you would probably not even notice a tsunami, it's when it comes closer to land and it gets shallow it gets dangerous.

The horizon in the video doesn't look completely straight. I think that's what you're pointing out, ahughes? Towards the end, the distant coast is affecting it, but at the beginning, the ocean horizon itself looks curved somewhat.

Could be the effect of tsunami waves if they'd already begun...or a VERY powerful telephoto lens showing the curvature of the earth.
