This is an 8x10 scratched with a #11 exacto and #11 scapel. It is of a cow coming out of the shadows. Looking for help with a title and any critique that you can give me. Thank you Rich

Rich.....nice work... im no help on the title... keeping in mind im no animal specialist .. the only thing for MY eye is the lil patch of fur that's catching light, right above your signiture .. .. im sure that's how it looks in your reference. But it looks funny to me...thanks for posting

Thank you Rod, I really appreciate your comments. That area of fur is on the refrence by jedknl2 from the wc ril and is the portion of the chest just under the neck.

Hi Rich, nice dramatic piece. Killer work on the fur, especially the forehead curls. I think I'm pretty good with titles but nothing's jumping out at me that doesn't sound kitsch. Hopefully someone will notice something to make a play on words with.

Thank you Patrick and Harry. I suppose "Into The Light" might work but something else might be better. Rich

Great tool work!!! Very impressive piece! As for a title, I usually think of great titles like "cow", "Dog", "Horse". etc. I'm afraid there's no help from me.

I don't know if you want a serious title or not, Rich, but how about "Mooood Lighting"? Which is definitely not serious.

It's a seriously nice drawing, though

Cows have such expressive faces and you sure captured a good one here. Well done!

Thanks Karen yes I like the title too and it will stick.
You are right about cows, I did a calf about 6 months ago and gave the original to my wifes friend but I have shown the prints and the response has been very good It also took first place at the local county fair. Of course the category was fine art with artist being over 60 and an amateur.
