Yep, this dog is 20 years old. She belongs to a friend of ours which he inherited when his father passed away. She's slow and blind. I haven't sprayed it yet so that I may correct whatever looks out of place. CC's welcomed before I spray and hand it over to our friend. Thanks for looking.

The dog looks pretty healthy for his age, only the eyes show a little aging.
Nice work with the fur and the reflection. Gail

great work -that reflection makes it shine! You captured that 'old dog' look very well. 20 is quite an accomplishment for a large dog!

Diane - what tools did you use for the floor and reflection? Can we see some close ups?

Karen, Gail, Pamela, Cathy, Rod, Brett, Lorna, Wendy, Lesley and Victor, Thank you for all your comments. They are deeply appreciated.

Cathy, I hope I did this correctly. Here's a close-up of the floor. Plus the erasers I used. It seems that when I used the eraser, it made the board shiney for some reason. I thought that by adding the ampersand color on it - it would dull it a bit but it didn't. I'm just hoping that the spraying will hold on that shiney part of the board. I'm doing that tomorrow.

Diane...the spray will hold okay on the shiny part, just as your color did. I've had that happen with erasers and also the NBT (nail buffer thingy for the newbies). The only eraser that I found that doesn't make it shiny is an ink eraser, but it has grainy particles that actually scratch the boards.

Your floor is very realitstic!

Thank you all for your comments and I'm sorry to say that Sandy has passed away. :crying: 20 years is a very long time for a dog and she just couldn't hold on any longer. :( May she rest in peace.

Thank you all for your kind words. She belonged to my husband's best friend and he said that his friend took it real hard. She was loved, pampered, and treated like a princess till the end.
