I was just wondering if anyone has tried DS Bismuth Vanadate Yellow and would you order it over their Cad Yellow Lt. Hue to replenish your old Cad Yellow? Thanks in advance experts!

I like the Bismuth V a lot.
Haven't tried the hue, and see no reason to; it's more expensive, apparently less permanent, and a mix of three pigments.

I use bismuth vanadate yellow in oil and I like it too. I think it is a different yellow than cad yellow light; it's a bit 'pushier'.

I use W & N Bismuth yellow and I find it has the most brightest, lightest, lemony-white color of all my yellows.

If you are looking for a lemon yellow in general, then you may find this thread (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=718681)useful.

Bismuth is colder (greener) and less powerful than the Cad
