Lorna, that's my kinda title!! So realistic as usual. Those strawberries are popping and look so real. Ditto the water in the glass. I really like the colours you have selected for this piece too. Simple but bold. Very very nice!!!

Lorna...your a bad @!!!!!

Lorna, this is fantastic and what is amazing to me is how quickly you can finish a piece of this quality. As a martini drinker I've never thought to put a strawberry in my vodka but your image is very enticing.

Holy Crap! (stealing "Your" line)
I think I got tipsy just lookin at it! :D

This is just soooo scrumptious. I could even drink the clear water/wine.
Beautiful for such a small piece of work. The strawberries are so real you could reach out and touch them and they would squeeze.

The bar just got raised again. So beautiful.

Lesley, Rod, Harry, Allan, Gail and Ken...thank you all so much! I have set up and taken hundreds of still life photos and figured it was time to do one of them...I glad you liked it!
I'm probably going to take a little break from scratching for awhile, so I can paint some ostrich eggs for Easter for our Artisan shop, but I'll still be hanging out here.:D

Lorna : Nice to see a colored piece from you. Transperancy and reflection
on glass and the fruit seen through with refraction in water , very well rendered

Thank you everyone...it's much appreciated!
I'll post pics of the eggs in the Scratchy thread when I get some done.

I meant to tell you....its might just be me but....I think when you added the penny...as great as it looks ( real )....it just looks out of place for my eye... and it MIGHT be a mistake... try covering it with a small piece of black paper and see if you don't agree.. of course, because your working on these boards....you could choose to ink it out......im just say'n.

I think that's supposed to be part of the tip Rod....or it might be all of it...
Not sure how Lorna is on tipping
( I do have to agree with your C&C Rod)

Very elegant. Of course makes me want a martini and I don't even like them.

Angela and Greg(great to see you again!) thank you!
Rodman and Allan...I agree and I removed it yesterday...it looks much better. (I was just going to say 'stick it' but I chose the high road.)

I love this Lorna. You have a gift of rendering texture like no other. And the splashes of color in this one really makes it pop. Excellent.
