OldMasters Run-over

I decided to do a couple of postcard size mini-masters along with the ATCs for the trade. This one is "The Kingfisher" by Van Gogh that I painted for my brother :heart: . It's acrylic 4" x 5.5" on Arches140lb hot press.

Thank you, Marmsk. He is my favorite artist, so I wanted to do a few more of his before I finished the Old Masters. I had dinner with my brother last night, and can you believe it? I FORGOT to bring the painting with me!!!!:eek: Boy was I aggravated with myself!! :rolleyes: Oh well, I'll have to give it to him next week!!

lucky brother !! ... :) ... i can understand how you'd be inspired to go a little larger than the atc size ... i'm tempted myself !!

I'll tell you, Violet...Marionh's was the last card I did of the OM series because she wanted postcard size. It was a LOT easier painting tiny eyes at that size than the ATC's!! ;) Thanks for the very kind comments...:)
