I too received a new award But don't know what it means. Community leadership? What's that mean? LOL

Congrats Mo, I also recently received a medal, but I can't figure out why, is it because I have done a certain number of posts or I have been here for so long? I have no idea what the criteria is but I am thrilled to have a medal! If anyone knows what garners a medal, I would love to know.

I do not know what Wet Canvas's definition of the medal is, but I certainly would vote for you being a community leader here. You are so helpful and encouraging to us all. Hoorah for MO!

I just found the definitions for the awards...and I quote:

"Implemented to recognize those members who are invaluable contributors to at least one medium or subject-specific forum."

Definitely applies here.

Hi everyone. Over in the landscape forum, I posted an early stage landscape that I had questions about because there are a bunch of diagonals and horizontals in the scene. Larry Seiler (lseiler) turned it into a composition demo that is remarkable. I wanted everyone in this forum to know about it because it is such a valuable lesson. Here's the link:

OOPS! Sorry, I thought I opened a new thread...Ignore this post.

Mikki - I liked it so much I printed out his comments and mark ups.

Thanks for the tip.

Barb, I also printed it out and have taped it to the wall beside my easel for future reference. Very concise list of comp do's and don'ts I thought.
