I wasn't sure where to discuss this so, here

anyways in my art class we just started cubism and we're doing some cubism drawings just to get the hang of it.
We have to take an object in the class, and draw it in a cubism style.

now, I sorta understand what cubism is, I just don't know how to create it.

Can anyone help me on this?

Hi Marlon

My friend has also started to study cubism and although I am not keen on modern painting, I loved a painting she has just done.
It was a three layer candlestick...but it appeared on the painting many times and in between were all sorts of rich shades and colours. If she will allow me I will take a photograph of it and post it to you! She is learning from one of the the best Spanish teacher of modern art!

I don't know much about cubism, Marlon, but I would post your question in the oil painting and acrylics forums because I think those forums get more 'traffic' than this one does and because painters in those media will be more likely to know about cubism. Good luck!
