this is reallllllly nice....... love the colours you have here :clap: .... Im intrigued by the lines going through it ..... what surface did you use :)

Hi Dark Shades,

Thanks for your nice comment. It was done on ash wood panel, which is what I am known for. It is 1/8 inches thick and 11x14.

This is really neat. It looks like you used sort of a rough board and used the texture of the board help define your painting. Really nice!

Your right, I try and use the grain of the wood whenever possible as part of the painting.

Very nice! That's so unique; colored pencils on wood. I've never heard of it before, but it looks great! :clap:

Did you have to use any kind of fixative or a base before you started applying the colored pencil? This is interesting, and I think a lot of us would like to know your technique if you don't mind sharing. Thanks!

As for my technique, tomorrow I will post on this thread, step by step how I render my work so that anyone wanting to give it a go can do so, plus I am happy to share whatever I can.

Ohh goodie :clap: I got a whole set of prismacolours for Christmas and dont know how to use them :)
