It seems my theme (for now) is to continue doing doooooodles in ink in my sketchbook. I love the circles for filling things in.

I love the doodles. They remind me of lots of soap bubbles!!!

Fun doodles! I like page 2 the best - I like the way the "mazes" and the "bubbles" look together. LOL

very cool. . . those look like zentangles that they were talking about in a art journal video I was watching. Real cool

Very cool EP, does the doodling relax you? They look like you are having fun when you do them.

Good for you Ep - I like them very much. Interesting that the circles get bigger as you go to different pages.

Doodling this way becomes quite meditative I think EP! Keep going, working with this kind of freedom might surprise you with what you can come up with ;)

doodling is meditative I agree - I had a teacher who thought I wasn't listening if I was doodling but he came to realise that I was when I came top in the exam! he left me to my doodling after that :)

I think page 5 is the most interesting of your doodles. Do you start from the outline and work your way in, or start in the middle and work your way out?

I like the way these are changing/evolving, it would make a good animation I think.

EP, I love your doodling. Very geometric looking and quite interesting. I love when you can doodle and don't have to concentrate so much. Bonnie

EP - I love your doodles. It's amazing how many different designs you are coming up with, using basically the same few elements in each one. Nice idea for a theme. Keep them coming!

It's very interesting to see how much sense of depth and movement you are getting with just geometric shapes. Fun stuff!

#28 is a bit dizzy-fying. - it almost needs a warning: "if affected do not drive or operate machinery". :D

Yep I see what you mean about #28 Ep, then I tried something really silly and fun scrolling the page up and down really fast, a very 60's experience that was, try it everyone its fun! The last three doodles are my absolute favorites, at least today.

Checking back in after too long of not doing so, EP. I think my favorite is #25, but they are all dizzyingly complex and fun to look at.

Great finish with your January challenge. Congrats, and all that. Thanks for sharing your cool dooooooodles.

BTW, no. 30 seems to be heading in a new direction, it has a more 3-D receding look to it, something to explore if you ever feel the urge to do more of these???

Cheers

Woohoo Ep. Congrats on coming up with a radically different doodle using the same forms for 31 days. I'd have never lasted that long. Does this mean you are finished or are you just getting started?

JTMB
02-15-2011, 10:21 PM
Congrats on the finish! Number 30 is fun - with the perspective of the rectangles providing some depth to the doodles...!

Congrats on the finish. Such patience. Fun doodles all month. Each the same, but different. Cool.
