Fascinating piece of work Richard. The title alone made me take a look.

Thanks halthepainter. I wanted to leave 2010 in a flurry. I had the 8x10 study to go by, and just started laying in color with a big brush in very spontaneous/spastic strokes and about 30 minutes later this is the finished product. It was very liberating and most of all a lot of fun.
Yes---- I was sober as the strongest beverage I drink is A&W diet root beer!
The title came after I finished - glad it caught your eye.
I use to live in York Beach Maine (for 7 years.)

I love the colours and impressionist style of painting in your beautiful tree painting. I find your painting very inspirational.
