The third in the Family Photos series. A family reunion circa late 1920ís. The two top photos are my wifeís father. The image is divided into three panels but two main photos are not confined to a single panel.

All C&C's welcome.

What a great idea with family photos. And well executed too.

Hi Randy,

Not everyone will have family photos as old as these but if you do and if it's been some time since you've looked at them... reacquaint yourself with them. The passage of time gives you a new perspective.

Thanks for you comment Kate. I know you will agree that Photoshop is a great program and lots of fun. It does have a steep learning curve but don't worry about it. Jump in, play around and enjoy.

I love the guy on the right with the shades, and it looks like you have a flyer in the family. I think he is wearing a bomber jacket WWII. I served in the Air Force 1978 - 1985 (still serving :)

Hi Barbara,

The guy on the right with the shades was Sharon's father. I took the photo a couple of years before he died. The guy in the bomber jacket is also her father. He was a navigator in the Army Air Corp and served in the Pacific theater. He never talked about it but he suffered from nightmares for the first couple of years after coming home.

'78 to '85 included some turbulent times..... where did you serve?
