I am having a problem here finding someone to sell me a concentrator without a license so I guess I will have to go the "on line" route.

Does anyone know the addy of the woman that sells them??? I thought I saved it but I can't seem to find it.

Or, does anyone have one they would want to sell me??

Thanks!

I must say - I ordered from Paulette - great service - and the concentrator works like a charm! I highly recommend her - she also offers replacement filters and such on her site.

Thanks sooo much! I emailed her so lets see what happens. Did you order her more expensive one or the cheaper one? I may have to go with the cheaper one. I hope it doesn't break down. I just can't afford it.

Check on e-bay... Uses concentrators are sold for "non-medical purposes" all the time......No license required...

Thanks Dale,
I was just looking there. There are a few that I could snag maybe if this doesn't work out. Most are really expensive though and I don't know these people. At least you all know Paulette so I will try her first.

Hi Allison,

I've bought the cheaper version of the concentrator from Paulette. Works like a charm! She's really terrific - if you can, take the time to call her - she'll give you all the info you need including the pros and cons of the more expensive versus the less expensive concentrator. She's a pleasure to deal with!

Off the point, I see you are from "upstate NY" - where? Wondering if there are any other glass addicts near me! :-)

Good luck with the concentrator!

I just got an email back from her. She is very nice. I have to wait for my pay pal account to upload the money so I can use my debit card with her, so it will be by the end of the week I hope. I am getting the cheaper one.
I am from the Albany area. There are a few others here too.

Dang! A little too far to pop over and visit! I'm 4 hours away in Buffalo. Dang!

Glad you reached Paulette - I'm very happy with mine!

I got an AirSep from Paulette as a $195 special (don't know if she's still offering those) and have been pleased with it.

Try not to keep your concentrator in damp conditions. I had a basement flooding problem for a while, and I think it may have done in my previous concentrator. While the concentrator itself didn't get wet, it sat in a very damp room for a long time and just didn't work too well after a while.

I ordered the more expensive one from Paulette - the AirSep with the one year warranty - but that's just me being anal! I see a number of people have ordered the specials and have been quite happy with them - and I did consider getting one of them - except for my little personality quirk:D

I would expect that anything you order from Paulette will give plenty of good trouble free service - she seems to really care about her customers.

Thanks everyone!!
I will be calling her soon to order. I have a basement studio but it doesn't seem to be damp down there anymore since we sealed it. Actually it is warmer down there in the winter than before and when I work I have to strip down to a T shirt.
She says she sells mostly the 195.00 specials and people don't seem to have a problem. I hope I don't. I have the WORST luck!!

Cindy...Yeah, Buffalo is a bit far but you never know. Maybe there will be a big show or something there and I can call you to help me get around. I hate going to strange places. I get very nervous.
I went to Darian Lake a few years ago and it took me over 4 hours to get there. Buffalo is even farther. Maybe it's just the way I drive. How's the snow out there?? We got 23" here. WOW!

Allison, have no fear. I have been totally pleased with my concentrator from Paulette, just like the one you ordered. It's has paid it self over and over too many times, I have lost count. I abuse mine by doing boro at 5 on it, and keep it in my enclosed un climate controlled room, which can get very humid here in FL when the rains comes, still no problem. Hey maybe I should wash the filter, oh I am bad.

If there is a wait, it's worth it!

I run Moretti with a 2.5 to 3, just FYI

My little guy only take a minute or so to kick the 02 out proper. The machine generates a little warn air from the bottom, so in the summer it sits far from me and down wind, in the winter I keep it close to my feet and upwind, make sense?

Oh cool Lori,
Great info. Thanks!!! I will remember this for later. I am worried when I start up with this Bobcat I will do something wrong and either blow it up or blow myself up. EEk!
