Here is my painting titled "Band Under the Bridge". The concept is simple, the simple things in life are the most important, especially friendship.http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/24-Nov-2010/368691-Band_Under_The_Bridge.jpg

Wonderful subject an I can imagine under the bridge dwellers doing just that if they had the instruments to play. Love your ideal for this painting.

Excellent job! I can hear the music now. Reminds me of Sundays in New Orleans years ago.

Joseph. This is a stunning piece of work. The light, the movement, everything about it just tells a great story.

Hi Joseph
Yes, the simple things in life are most often the most important.
Your painting is anything but "simple" .
Very dramatic, very dynamic, and very well done!
Keep them coming!

Glad that you like it. I will look for my preliminary sketches and color studies to post. I wanted to keep everything bold with plenty of musical soul. There are a few followup pieces that I will share soon. These pieces aren't conceptual sequals, but rather a continuation of exploring the same visual aesthetic.
