the play of vertical and horizontal striations stripes lines and divisions is quite sophisticated.

Many works of art posted here are breathtaking, this induces instead, a sigh.... of wonder.
It is amazing how you marry and touch certain horizontals and it doesn't invoke tension. I'm thinking of the top of the swing support and the top of the covering at end of the dock.

wouldn't miss the one little tree by the swing but that's minor .. great rendering.

i am liking the vertical and horizontal variation...some crispy some melted and some simply end...i remember that dock i think it is the one that you have painted gary on...there is a feeling to the south and you have it here...

the contrasts work for me too. I could look at this for a long time...familiar and calming.
