I love the Lake District and your paintings do it great justice. Beautiful work.

Lovely work Ade. Just one small critique - in the Buttermere painting there are some small white blobs in the spit of land between the lakes. They seem to stand out without conveying a message of what they are meant to be.
You have caught the area really well.

Ahh! These are gorgeous!

->Doug. Ey up. They'll be seagulls or sheep I reckon. Actually they're less white in the flesh (think I used flash on this one). That's Buttermere village.

Beautiful paintings. I love the way you vary your values and colours to create a varied and powerful scene. And..painting as you have from the top of a hill looking down gives it great persective and depth.

I'm with everyone, these are beautiful. I especially like the second one.
You've really captured the immense span of the land, very well done indeed!

Another beauty Ade, but the background water looks higher up - an easy fix for you ;)

Another triumph Ade, lovely painting. "Ey up" is a greeting I haven't heard since my days in the potteries. Are you really a Midlands man rather than a "tyke" ?
Beautiful work. I was there in June, also in York:)
