MY COMMENTS:
Hello! I'm a young (fairly young:24!) french amator, and I've just discovered this website. My english is not good, but I hope to understand all that is said! Here is my second attempt of a flower and a beach in Britany.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
What about the composition and the technic? Don't hesitate to let you off steam!

No steam at all :

Welcome on WC

The flower is lovely.
As to the beach I think the scan or the photograph is a little to dark. On the other hand I like it very much except for the birds in the sky - it's very personal but I always feel something "kitsch" when I see these little v's in the sky. No offense meant ... and good continuation.

lol!!! It was not birds! That was power kites to use with a buggy...
But that's right this picture is not my best. Sorry...

Love both of them. Specially the flower extending beyond the border.

(oh...power kites...perhaps if you had shown them at varying angles...it might have worked a tad better)

as an abstract of large horizontals
sensitively positioned, the beach scene appeals to me strongly

love how the flower is not boxed in by the border.
Good work.
