I am not sure what the tangelo is on...
but it is very shinny
and I am sure it would reflect more on the
ceramic kettle more
or perhaps not? from where you were painting from?
but the whole area under the tangelo
and behind it is confussing
perfect otherwise...and lovely!
you definatly have a way with still lifes!!!!!
brand new classics...
quickly painted?...you brat, you...;)

Gosh Jim, did you put this up to give us something to pick on, since all the others were so perfect! LOL!:D
The cut part of the tangelo barely comes through and the fuzziness of whatever it sits on and just back and to the right of it is confusing.
I am in awe of how few daubs of paint you use to indicate the pot is shiny or in some of your others, clear glass.
It's an area where you really shine... aww god that's bad, a truthful but bad pun

There's alot to like here. My favorite area is JUST AROUND THE LID
OF THE teapot,..where the glaze gets thin,..and you can see the texture of the pottery.MAN, I LOVE THAT!
It was mentioned that part of the painting was confusing.
Parts of a painting SHOULD be a little confusing,..I think..:)
ONE suggestion..(if the paint's still wet,..lol),..is to soften the reflection of the tangelo on the teapot. (I mean to soften the hard edges of the reflection).....
Great Job,mate!:) -S
