Title: DerekII unfinished
Year Created: 2002
Allow digital alterations?: No please.
The resemblance is still not right.
When I get it, I'll finish with Oil
MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Do you like it?

How do you get the texture. Is it painted?
It looks like you're painting on stucco but it says canvas.

Long time no see !
I am sure this is going to turn out well ... as usual. Many of your paintings are "printed in my brain" ...
Unable and definitely unqualified to critique ;) but I love to visit the WC show on paintings !

I keep forgetting that you declare this unfinished.
I know it is, but parts are so finished that I look at it as wierdly centric with a floating head.
looking forward to the completed canvas so the head anchors out ok.
nice work as usual.

I hope it is not just because it is unfinished, but there is a real difference. I love it. It seems a bit daring for you!

Jerry, "well baked" made me chuckle.
It's unfinished because I am still not happy with the actual resemblance and because I want to go over it with oil paint.
Ginette the texture I get by working with various acrylic pastes, in this case "Modelling Paste B" from Lascaux.
Gilberte, artbabe, Paintonbrush, Alan and DJ thank you.
