Alan, Helen, Cathleen, Paintonbrush, Julia and Carrie....thank you all for your kind words.
I am pretty pleased with the way this one turned out. Earlier today I had prepared the canvas by adding black gesso on it. The painting itself took about an hour to do....like I said before ....the paint was flying! *LOL* This was an experiment ...where I did not think too much as I was painting....I just slapped some colors on and let it flow into whatever it wanted to be. I was thinking something "organic" would be my subject....such as flowers and grasses....but it developed differently..

oh yes! I did much oohing and aahing as this opened on my monitor. I would call this a success.
Flying paint is a grand thing.

well goodness this is quite the work...read the title saw the work and thought to heck with the lake this is passion...:p but do not mind me i could be hopelessly confused or cleverly crazy:evil:

I missed reflecting on this.
I like the darker version
but for so simple a design it has such a powerful effect.

look's like a lake that should'nt be hidden and for all to see,i see a lot of people have reflected on this and rightly so.well done.
