Oh Kathie. I have schmooozed with a cow in the past and ended up practically having the skin removed from my cheek!!! Oh this is so delightful. I am totally enamoured by your series and just love this one.

Kathie: Is this rated "R" ???
This is so cute and done in only the way you can handle these lovely ladies. Question: How many do you have of this fantastic series?

11-01-2010, 11:43 PM
Elinor,THANKS sooo much, I think I took about 50 photos before I got one that was clear enough and not hazy, black is so hard to photograph, I took about 10 photos check them on computer and deleted them and redid them again and again.. HEHE and of course every speck of dust shows up on the black as a big white spot! Glad I finaly got one good photo!
nspire, THANK YOU!! Glad it brings back happy memories!
Henry, Thank you very much! you make me blush!
Chammi, ohhh thank you very much! I am so happy you enjoy the series, It really makes my day to know so many enjoy them as much as I do painting them!!
Canadanny, Thank you for stopping by and commenting. hehe I like that they Moooove you!! HEHE.. I appreciate it very much!
Hey Derek! Nahh its PG!! its just a love peck! HEHE.. I appreciate your generous comments too.. This one is #28 so far since I stared this series in July, but I did about 7 others in the past 2 yrs....Ohhh I think I have more photos left then I have painted already.. quite a stack of them I've collected so far and a bunch I haven't printed yet. that I have permission to paint! soooo watch out. my herd is growing in leaps and bounds LOL.

THANK YOU ALL!!:D

Aw, little darlings! And yes black is a difficult one, especially when you've got nice white faces on them too. My cameras eye struggles where to go unless I'm lucky enough to borrow a proper set up with a greycard from photographer friends!

Every time I see your beautiful cows I cannot but smile. My parents try to "parent" about 80 cows with calves and some of the stories they tell and the mischief those buggers cause I think they found us five kids easier to bring up. They managed to escape into the laneway the other day. Took dad a few hours to round them up and then he no sooner had them in the paddock than he turns round to find them at the gate pushing the chain with their tongues and slipping the gate.

Excellent, love the detail and texture feel of the cows, think this one is my favorite.
