This is one of my most popular paintings. It is acrylic on wood. I was fortunate enough to have Cirque Du Soleil acquire this painting from me about a year ago. This painting is titled "Connect". The reason why I titled it "Connect" because there are two vesions of every character in this piece. It's a "Before & After" effect. The characters walking across the bridge from the left side are themselves 10 years ago. The characters that are walking from the right to the left are the current version of the characters. If you study closely, you will notice that people change throughout the years based on the personal decisions. This painting is a lesson in life, choice and future. Where will you be in 10 years?

This is wonderful and I love the way you fit in all your subjects twice. How big is it Joseph?

It is 60" by roughly 18" high. 2" thick. I had a custom wood surface built for it.

It is interesting and insightful! But it is a bit hard for me to match the people of the present to their 10-year-ago image. I think I need to see the original work for that.

This is fantastic I can see it appealing to Cirque du Soleil, I love their shows as well. You really draw in the eye with your background it reaches beyond, so cool. Love the characters and the palette, it's really quite interesting and so very well done.

Thanks! The original holds up quite nice! I actually show my acrylic painting techniques in my new training DVD. My second DVD is in production at the moment and will be available soon.

This is one that a person could look at for a very long time. I love the premise behind it and it is expertly rendered.
