Here's the second in my rock musicians series. Still using that sort of poster style which I think lends itself nicely to the subject, and once again an unusual palette for me. I'm having fun with these even though they take me much longer to paint for some reason.

Gayle this is wonderful and yes the poster style does lend itself well to this kind of painting and nice that you are able to do that style departing from your own style. Love it.

Another winner Gayle. It is a dynamic style and agree it suits the rock star image perfectly.

Cool painting. I like the bold colours and the graphic effect you've got with the flat areas of dark againt the bright highlights. One thing I noticed though, and it's only my personal opinion so feel free to ignore me. I'd like to see more definition of depth in the drum, or maybe even a highlighted outline round its top edge. Just something to separate it from the dark section of t-shirt behind it.
