I've been a fan behind the scenes and have never commented on your wonderful work nor your evolution. I looked at this and felt somewhat pained but was not exactly sure why until I saw "Walkin in the Sunshine". The composition of the Walkin is much more comfortable to me than this but I love the colors and stroke-work. Keep painting and keep posting.

Faye .. I really appreciate the fact that you have stepped up to the plate with a comment and I am very glad that my painting has the power to evoke such a strong feeling from you .. though my intention was not to do a sad painting, but to show the beauty of the light coming through just after an afternoon storm.
Alan .. lonely? .. funny I didn't see that .. but that is the beauty of a painting .. the ability to evoke emotions.
taghera .. :D
ladybug_lane .. thank you .. solitude but not lonely.
