Nice color, shadows, and composition. Interesting perspective. The rust is also very well done. Only thing I see that may be off is the angle at which the top pole is coming down. It seems a little to sharp. Maybe the beggining of the pole (at the top right) should come down a tad. Other than that it ROX>

Superb!!!

I can't decide if I like the composition more than the painting technique or vice versa. As a photographer and painter, I see the strength in both aspects and applaud your precision.

You definitely have greater patience that I do. The way you have taken the time to perfectly define the links in the fence and the shadows in each link is tremendous!!!! How long did this take to paint?

Being someone who loves color - the simplicity of the pallette is amazing.

You are inspiring....

NO DOUBT it is the Santo-man!
I am so happy to see you posting! Your chainlink is as lovely as a still life of flowers!
I like the daylight. The ocean gray sky with the sun breaking through.... superb!!!

I don't know.................unless he's loosening up big time and disregarding his penchant for hard edged detail, this just doesn't have that sharp precision I've seen with dom baby's work.

My "gut" may be way off today. Sorry, dom if it is but........

I don't know..............

man, oh, man. I dunno. The blue's all wrong and the light sources are confused and where there should be shadow and usually is in Dom's work - isn't here and the blue crisscross shadow of the fence on the wall doesn't make sense.

I don't know........

but, I'll shut up.

If we didn't change we wouldn't grow.
What makes Joe's work so amazing is being able to see a subject many different ways.
This is a real departure. The depth, and I bet the shadow is from the unseen fence to our right.
What has always been amazing about his stuff is how is sneaks up on our conscious perceptions. Like we know what it is but it always seems to confuse and enlighten!
It is a domsanto...
fer sure!!

But first we have to be sure and ask ourselves, is it live or is it memorex.

We can't be sure with "anon".

I take it you and thong boy are either PMing or just horsing around!
Can you answer the question regarding his much awaited postings?
He is either painting (OH NO! ) or he lost his internet connection!
Tell him we miss him.

how big is a case, I'm nursing a six pack. I share it with Alice,
glad to oblige - will we cross paths soon?
I didn't say I really like how the diffuse shadow is worked in?
