This is very sculptural, Gavin. She has a nice solid feeling. I was just wondering, the face looks darker than in your other portraits. Was this intentional? I like it when you use lights to bring out the face.

Yes, it was intentional. I am always looking for different lighting in my work, even if it is a dark room.

Thank you for noting the sculptural qualities. I get that a lot about my work. Maybe I should try sculpting!
