View Full Version : An Open SND Invite for all Tonight!

(shamelessly sung to the tune of CAMELOT)
A law was made a distant moon ago here
Wet Canvas! is the creative place to be
And there's a legal limit to the critiques here

All styles and mediums are open to our members
and chatting is a must for all to "see" ?
That we all worked 2 hours just to render
A post for FND!

An art-event, an art-event
I know it sounds a bit bizarre
But in any-event, any event
That's how these Artists are...

Well now that I have your attention, welcome to SND!

(Saturday Night Drawing - rescheduled just for you...)

As you can see from my "digital remaster" of Sendai Castle,
our theme is CASTLES this week, all kinds...

A always the rules are simple:

1) Log on here in the Art Projects section... (http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/Projects/)
2) Sign up (so you can post anytime this weekend)
3) Work for 2 hrs in any medium of your choice, then post either in progress or finals in the art project.
4) Come to the Cafe Guerbois (http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/Chat/) and chat with the artists who worked along side you!

And that's all ya gotta do... so break open some untouched art supplies, or retouch some old favorites. The FND or SND is all about you having fun for 2 hours without any pressure or going into our usual "over analytical artist mode"...

Just create from what you see, and use the stuff you like to work with, then share it and talk with your fellow WC members...

And these can be sketches, or one finished piece, or let your imagination go and see what inspires you. But most of all, join us and have some fun!

I hope to see you there...

PS: If you find the time scheduled doesn't work for you, you can still sign up and post all weekend long... Infact you can post indefinitely as long you sign up first.

What is FND or SND? How Can I become a Host? Where Can I find Examples of past Art Events? (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=52426)
