Just to say thank you for setting this up Robert. The index link is going to be really useful. I don't expect to be posting so often so my October sketchbook will likely disappear out of the normal threads page quite often, and with little time its good to be able to check in now and then without searching.

Thank you so much for your comments. Yep, I didn't have time to do more sketching yesterday, got tied up in some other things offline too. But now that I'm done grocery shopping and putting food away and getting the Index ready, I think I'll go sketching... maybe starting the day late in the middle of the night is my new routine?

How about a few of us rip multiple pages out of our sketchbook, having one page remaining and just fill in that remaining page. Will that count as filling the entire book? :D

Doggone it; you stole my strategy. Truly though, I'm just a late bloomer; I may yet have a sketchbook to bring out at the last moment.

Was your strategy also to just put a dot on each side of the paper with a pencil and call them finished as well? My other strategy is to say there's a hyper-realistic drawing of an invisible dog on the page, too.

Well yours are good, but I thought about lots of pages of polar bears in blizzards - from the back view of course, no time for eyes.

LOL Crystal and Carole, there's always those strategies. Or getting the ten page watercolor journal to use for it.

Jen - one suggestion for starting to catch up. Try doing some fast timed sketches - one minute, two minute drawings. They fill up a lot of space fast and that can get multiple pages done in a day. It's also great practice for getting lively poses on animals and people.
