It's quite wonderful the way it is - misty, loose and much like an oil painting - great brush and blending work here. Maybe a dark or two in the rocks - but don't overwork - it's fine just as it is.

Oh, Brian, I really like this a lot. It has such great atmosphere. I agree with one of the other commenters that I was sure it was an oil when I first opened the thread.

It is so Atmospheric ,I had to draw in a deep breath when I first glanced at it !!! No Kidding !:cool:

The texture of the paint application really give this a freshness that helps with the subject matter. I can feel the spray. Very nice.

I think the guide judged this as a WIP....so it was moved....understandable if one reads the 2nd post.
Ok gang......one big ""leave it alone"....;-)

Hi Brian, I think this is painted very well - the roughness and spontaneity of your style goes well with the subject. My only fault is in the composition. Your focal is almost center and you kind of loose the fishermen in the vast background. I cropped it bring more importance to them. Jan

I too love the spontaneity of this picture, but would miss the water pools in the forground which lead me in to the action if you were to crop. I can still see so much happening here!
