I am working on a wolf piece for a Christmas present; and, needless to say, I am coming down to the wire. I have the colors I want laid in; but, I am unsure how to get a 'fur' effect. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to paint fur with watercolor?

thanks,
tim

Well, I couldn't wait any longer and had to go for it. Here is the result. My style is definitely not photo-realistic - I enjoy injecting color. Any comments would be appreciated.

I really like your watercolor too. I like the wolf, but I really really like the trees in the backgroud. You really did well. Let me see more. Phyllis
