This is my best work in my life.
I consider it my only great peice of art.
The scan does not do justice to this peice.
I will never sell it. It contains so much of what I am. I consider this art my child in many ways. I'm not attached to any other peice of work I've done except a dog image which is to large to post.
I considered it risky to post and almost didn't for fear of being hurt.
I would change nothing, I even realize it's flaws, but then again who' perfect?

Otherwise I love the vertical line on the left formed by the neck, face and the hat. It gives the portrait a very original look and
feel...

i did a painting years ago that was my most perfect creation in that the painting turned out EXACTLY as i had imagined. one of those magical moments when all the planets were aligned. i painted the same piece 15 years later. it was better technically, but the feeling, the ambience, the depth, was not the same.....milt
