i think you need a hot spot. that one light source that pops a hilite off the,,,, "chrome mouse"??? i don't know if digital imagery automatically puts all the hilites in for you,,,but if YOU must do it, the hilites go on the ears or any point where edges meet, or where different planes come together. if the hilites aren't bright enough( because of all the reflection you already have) i would cut the reflections you have to accentuate the hilites. hilites will show well against dark areas because of the contrast, therefore the ears, the front nose, and along the side where there is dark reflection, are good places to place hilites
