As a K-8 art teacher I recently had the chance to showcase some students' work on the Internet. It was through a non-profit organization called Hugging Hands. The kids became increasingly motivated at the possiblity that their artwork would be seen worldwide. It increased their self-esteem and generated excitement for all involved! Hugging Hands is now looking for schools(K-12) to participate in their upcoming "ART AROUND THE WORLD" program. So check out the website! www.hugginghands.org

Thanks so much for letting me know about this. I have passed it on to another art teacher. I hope she takes it and runs with it she's very involved in GAEA.
