Well, it is true – I am home from Kansas. I am a little tired, sad and a little lonely. It was a great trip. It started with the pilot landing a half hour early – woohoo! - but then just sitting on the tarmac waiting for a gate. It was snowing and a little on the cold side for this California girl.
Lauri was at the gate waiting for my luggage and me – we of course cackled all the way home. Kansas really is beautiful! The colors of the trees this time of year were amazing. Her family is delightful!! And the pets are darling (her 3 pound poodle was a might ferocious and I think the cat might me on crack, but don’t say anything). I think poor Jakie may now have a cheez-it addiction issue now – but I will be sending some refills to quite the howling.
Mark (husband) and Ryan (son) are darling and really nice!! (Although they don’t root for the correct football teams). I felt completely at home especially with all the boy noises coming from the family room.
Lauri and I visited the KC bead show three times – what is nice turnout they had. It was fun to see everyone! In between torching, shopping and chatting we managed to get a few things done but is never ceases to amaze me how fast the time flies when your having fun. And she has the greatest little market near her – it had everything!! Roast beef, Squash salad, and who could forget the tuna!
Can’t wait til she visits here next month!!

Jiley Goes Home .... sounds like a children's book, doesn't it? LMAO!
Well, Lauribaby and Jiley, all I can say is wow! Another great collaboration. I'm totally jealous, it must have been so much fun!
Beautemous beadage, ladies.
