here are two reliefs that i carved out of sentra (sp?) board. they are printed on a relief press.


(again, the prints look much better than the scan--i have a really old scanner)

Your strong cuts and cross hatching really make these pop out.

These are wonderful charactors! Looks like there should be a childrens book to go along with these...? ;)

I'm not familiar with sentra board -- what is that?

honestly, i'm not 100% sure what sentra board is either. i bought it from my printmaking teacher. i've tried to find information about it online, but to no avail.

sentra is a white material, about 1/4" in thickness. the advantage is that it is really cheap. the drawback is that it is difficult to get detailed lines (it is softer than endgrain). it sort of reminds me of how i hear people describe resingrave.
