This was fun to do. Hope I got all the legs in there.... http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif I took this picture 100 times and this is the best I could do (no scaner yet http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/frown.gif). Graphite, 11x14, plate-finish bristol. --Shirl

WOW I really like this. I love how you used the light to just suggest the top of the neck of the horse on the left. Very nice!

This is Great! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/wink.gif
I especially like how you have portrayed movement in the horses and how you have done the lights and darks on the horses. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Took me awhile to get back and thank you for your comments LOL!
The most difficult aspect of this type drawing, besides getting all the legs in there http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif, is keeping the light correct. Some day I'd like to try a whole herd.

Thank you Olika, Tammy and Roan for your lovely comments! It was a challenge for sure, especially getting the various hoof positions correct. Putting all those dapples in there was a chore. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
