Quite good James, but what are the blue dots in the sea? They rather spoil it IMHO.

Remember - darker colours in the foreground lesding to lighter colours in the distance add depth.

Much better James. Small rocks look out of place in deep water.

Thanks Doug but I really intended to show rocks that far out because where I live on Georgian Bay you can look far out and see rocks and small islands and the water is very shallow. But I can see in a painting it dont really look good.

Fair enough James, although to make them realistic they should get smaller into the distance.
