This is another attempt at working with coloured pencils, of a swallow. Need comments and critiques. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Ditto my previous comments animal, but I still like your colours, and the bird is very well drawn.

hi animal,
I like your way to use the pencil, and your ´brave´ colours.
But I have to admit this bird doesn´t look like a swallow to me:
- in my weird brain swallows are birds of stringent elegance ...
- a place like this to sit down a swallow
might choose when there is nothing more appropriate around.
just my 2 dpf

Nice to see you working in color Animal!
One suggestion, look a bit more carefully at brush, trees, etc., and note that each branch, stem becomes thinner and thinner as it grows outwardly...which is a necessary thing nature must do to keep them strong and from breaking. take care,
Larry
