View Full Version : November Gallery Exhibit

I'll have five paintings on exhibit and for sale in a November Gallery Show at the TUAC Gallery in Thomaston, Georiga. It's a small town located in a triangle between Macon, Columbus and Atlanta if anyone is around and would like to see it.

The reception is planned for November 10, but I will not be in town that day. The show opens Friday November 1 and will run thru the end of the month. :)

Wish me luck. :D

Here are my five:

I call this one "Blue".

Now don't laugh... I've left the frame edge protectors on this one so I could show someone how I transport my pantings. These frame edges actually came on the frame when I bought it, and if you take care you can use theses over and over.

can't seem to find the image of my last one... but I'll keep looking. I think I've already put it up at WC! somewhere. :)

Found it... :)

The paintings are all wonderful.
Best of luck to you.
It sounds like a very nice opportunity.

Hi Llis,

Sorry it took me so long to find this thread to view your pieces. These are looking so strong--your stroke work looks much more confident and deliberate. Please let us know how the show goes!

Thanks Diane.

I have to admit I had an awful lot of help with these from Linda Blondeheim and Marsha Savage. :) Without their help, I could not have done these. The quest continues.

Hi Llis,

That's ok...we all help each other but in the end, YOU painted the pieces. Nice going!!

I also have to tell you that Ruth helped me so much too... and so did lots of other WC! members that logged in to see me squirm posting my attempt at painting those marshes. This summer I've made an effort to really try to get those marshes right and it really has paid off. I haven't had much time off, but what time I have had has been painting. I also have your advice running around in my head. LOL

Look at this thread... You will be amazed! (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54382)
