This drawing was especially fun to do.

I like the way you did this one. I especially like the bushy tail and the cat`s texture. How did you do the background?

That was very easy on this one, just a little shading with a 2H and then rubbing with my fingers to smooth it out and create some texture.

I really like this one. And for a "dog guy" you really capture the essence of cats very well. I liked the other cat drawing too. But in this one, I particularly love the detail in the doilies and the pattern of the fabric of the chair or sofa. Really, really well done. I could study this one for a long time.

Thanks, Barb. I know when I started it that I was completely intimidated and didn't have a clue how I would ever get it right. A step at a time though and pretty soon...voila!
I little story about this one. I did this for a lady who gave it to her husband for Christmas. This is his very favorite cat. Well, I have known this man for 25 years, but he only knows me as a golfer and he was shocked to see my name on the drawing. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif
Glad you like it, Barb.

Thanks, taghera. Last year, my index was 3.5, but I have hardly played in the last ten years. I used to be competitive and my handicap was always in the 0-3 range, although I was once a +2. I love golf, but it takes so much time.

Damn it!!!! you're even better at golf than me, I haven't played for a couple of years due to a knee injury, but my handicap was 10 in my hayday, Its a great game and I miss the banter and crack of a round, and of course the 19th hole afterwards. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yep, golf is a wonderful game and you meet some unbelievably nice people. If not for golf though, I might have been doing this stuff 30 years ago. ;-)
