I love this picture. The cats look so much like mine just laying around on a nice summer day. Very nicely done.

Bruce, I like this one. I like how you did the cats textures and the background. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif What type of paper do you use?

I've done most of my drawings on Grumbacher general purpose 77 lb. drawing paper.

Beautiful work. I looked at your web site --the pumpkin painting, the landscapes, all beautiful. But that pencil drawing of the Munich scene is specataculor --no wonder it won the prize.
Did you live in Munich; I saw a couple of the drawings of the Isar?

Thank you, Bill. I lived in a tiny place called Worfelden, about 6 km from Groß Gerau and 20 km southwest of Frankfurt. I was there for 6 months until May, 1999. I've been to Munich several times and have travelled all along the south and up the Rhine Valley to the North Sea.

I love Germany and just think it's a shame I wasn't drawing or painting when I was there. I have lots of images in my head though. Munich is a wonderful city. You might recognize a painting on my website. I painted a view of Burg Katz from St. Goar.

Bis bald,

Bruce
