I think this is a really good start. Did you use a photo for the base? All you need to do is blend the tones. Great work!  :cat:

I like it a little rough. But the ears lack a little definition - but it's good.

If this was a doodle just think what you could achieve if you want to do some more. It was very good. Did you use Photoshop for this...I would love to know how you did it?

Thanks so much for the link! Blending is usually done with a smudge tool set around 25-40%. I have a WIP thread here that shows my current state and the link for the other updates I posted. If you look at the WIP link with all the posts you can see the way the skin tones have changed and how the features are defined with shading and smudge. :cat:

I applied the smudge on the right half of the face to show you the effect. I hope that was ok:confused: I used the smudge tool at 35% with a 17 size brush at 1space. The base tones you have on the face are wonderful for skin!

:D Kool doodle-noodle! (noodle part is just for added colorful verbage;) )
I, personally, do not use the Smudge tool very much (that's just my own thang)....instead I use the airbrush for blending.

You folks just amaze me! When I first looked at this it reminded me of claymation. I had no idea of the many feels and looks that can be achieved by some of these programs.
