This leopard head is done in watercolour. I would like to improve on all of my art especially wild life so comments are welcome.

Wow you spent some time on this edith. very well done.
I would like to see a more definite light source here, some shading below the chin would define the head more...and maybe lift some colour from the rear end to make it receed more from the head. the eyes are very nice edith. you are certainly getting better with your animals.

You nailed the eyes pretty good Edith, and that's half the battle right there! Shading, as Duchene pointed out is needed to create that proper level of contrast to keep colors in check and give it that feeling of solidity.

That's great edith. I can tell I don't come here enough. I love your work. You should post in critique more just to show it off if nothing else.
