I thought I would give this a try here in the new sub forum. Generally I would have posted it in the darkroom and let you all guess if I changed it or not sometimes a mouse can be a rat :-)
Here is the SOOTC

The original was taken with the coopix and digitally mastered in photoshop 7 on a wacon tablet. No plugins or actions were used on this. It will be a piece in my portfolio and is printed out 5 by 7, on epson radiant white water color paper.

MM...I saw this piece in the Daily...and you certainly had *me* trying to figure out whether it was "created" or SOOTC...I was leaning toward SOOTC! The "rat" would have won this go round, for sure.
I LOVE this one...The original is GREAT but the manipulation is SUPER FANTASTIC!

Thank you Julie :-)
I really dislike the original and kept it because I did see something in it. To me it is just a snapshot taken one day at the zoo..........what can I say, I want to be honest. This just goes to show if you look at a photo and want to get rid of it take a second look before hitting the delete button. There might be something hiding in there.

MM, this looks more like a great heron plunging in for some small fry, rather than a pink flamingo............is that what you did, the plunging effect with ripples?? Never seen a PF put their whole head under water like that, that doesn't mean of course it don't happen;)
Very nice image. Don't you hate it, cause they got those ugly tags on their legs.
Haven't you ever tried playing with these pics and the saturation levels..........get some awesome purples and greens out of them?
Ozzie
PS what in the world is sootc?

LOL ozzie SOOTC is "Straight Out Of The Camera"
I am not a fan of over saturation I like realism in my photos. But that dosen't mean I don't like to look at other peoples work like this.
I removed the background, the head was underwater like that.

:D MM I shouldn't try to observe things like yours when that is my weakest trait (a man thing, me thinks) but when the littles ones are fighting and distracting me.........like right now. Ahhhhh, deep breath. Gotta take em out and tire em out.
Nice job, see the final results on top....minus the back, ok we're there......
Thanks for sharing.

Ozzie - sorry I just got back to this place. I have no problem with others giving me suggestions. I rather like it, it shows you have taken an interest in my work. Tell you what I will give the saturation thing a go and let you know how I like it. Little ones can be very distracting I had 4 of my own :-)
