View Full Version : Cabin by the river

This is done with all the different brands of W/S paints and I very sparingly used Max Quick Dry on 12x16 Yes canvas that I primed with gesso mixed with a small amt of ultramarine blue W/C paint. The painting reflects wishful thinking.

Love that sunset and colourful sky Fred. Wouldn't mind being there either! Jen

Fred - I love the sky - I am always truly inspired by the colors of the sky! Your river with it's little falls and the cabin beside is so relaxing. I am sure you would love to be out there fishing!
The one thing that bothered me a bit was the angle that the background trees are growing, but I figured out that is because your photo was taken at a bit of an angle so I took the liberty of putting your photo in my photo editor and rotating it just a tad counter-clockwise. Now it doesn't bother me - - hope you don't mind that I did this. I am posting my results below.

Your sunsets are to live for. Wish I were there too.
