seeking a lesson

I am currently trying to learn to paint on claybord smooth..(wish I had started with claybord textured) - with watercolor.
Anyone here know of any step by step and illustrated lessons using this? I have checked out the ampersandart.com site - and the excercises there are good, they don't quite "fill the bill" for me.
I am impressed with this surface for many reasons and would like to use it more..it is soooooo forgiveable ! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif Carol

Did you take a look at Karen Vernon's video? It's for textured and doesn't deal with animals either -- but might be okay for the smooth to get a technique going. They sell it on the Ampersand site and at Dick Blick as well.

I think it's called "Unleasing Dynamic Watercolors".
