Monthly Projects

Hi all!!!

Just wanted to pop in with a little update on the Monthly Fantasy Art Projects. Many thanks to those of you who've already signed up to host a project! Cision's October Monster Mash is well under way, so be sure to drop in and check it out. For future months, the lineup so far is as follows:

November: Digistyle
December: Baquitania
January: Axl
February: mmdm

If anyone else wants to claim a month, PM me with your project idea and I'll mark you down! I won't tell you what these other hosts have in mind for their projects, yet - I'll let it be a surprise for them to reveal later. :)

Also, I wanted to point out that these projects could be an excellent opportunity to challenge everyone artistically a bit. Hosts, you could always start off your project by creating a demo or writing an Article (yes, this is a plug for more Articles!!!) about the topic, and then we'd all explore the topic together in the Project. Could be fun!!!

And of course, everyone's welcome to start their own projects outside this monthly project plan! Like coolray and his calendar fairies - what a great idea! The monthly project is just a way to keep the ideas flowing.

Also, if I could add, If you have a project idea but you are afraid of contacting amy because you haven't ever created a project before, feel free to pm her, or bug me in the wc! chat to get some help in getting it started ;) Don't be afraid about asking questions of anything!

Absolutely, that's one of the goals of the monthly project - to get people involved is hosting projects who might not have done so before!

And if you want to be tied to a pole and beaten with a wet noodle, then forced to wear a Star Fleet uniform while I point and laugh at you, then contact me. :D

Just kidding. The noodle wouldn't be wet. :D
