Painted on UART 600 Grade pastel paper using mainly Unison soft pastels, 14x10 inches.

Dartmoor ponies! Wonderful painting...looks just like I have read about. A harsh place but sometimes beautiful.

I was down that way a couple of years ago and this looks just like the Moors and those hardy little ponies with their long manes and tails. Great job. Jen

Lovely painting - I especially like the last bit of blue sky which looks like it will shortly be covered by clouds!

It's also really nice to see a painting of a landscape that I know - America is too far away, Dartmoor is only half an hour away!!

Excellent sense of place here, as others have said! I can feel the cold wind that the ponies have turned away from.
