View Full Version : Sunflower - stained glass look

Just thought I'd share a new one I did using acrylics. It's 12x15 on Strathmore #140 paper. The black lines were added last using India Ink...then entire piece was sprayed with clear matte sealer.

It looks good, Carly http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif I work in stained glass and you have definitely caught the crispness and the brightness of it! Very nice!
Why do I make it so hard?

I really like this! I don't work with stained glass but I too feel that you have really captured the feel of stained glass and I love the colors!!!

Really nice! The first thing I thought of too, was stained glass. But what I like most is how you achieved a softness to the flower petals while using solid colors and line...beautiful.
